Dr. Will Mitchell grew up in Hamilton, Ontario. From an early age, Will was involved in many sports activities such as baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, and karate. During high school, he volunteered at a physiotherapy clinic and became increasingly aware of how easily injuries occurred to people of all ages and the importance of receiving appropriate rehabilitative therapy.
At the University of Guelph, Dr. Will completed an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics and a Master’s degree in Biomechanics. During his undergraduate years, Will saw a chiropractor at the university health centre clinic for chronic knee pain and an ankle injury and was sufficiently impressed that he set out to learn more about this art. Dr. Will Mitchell was fortunate to earn a volunteer position in the clinic under the supervision of the chiropractor which lasted for one and a half years. In 2011, he began studies at the New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) in Seneca Falls, New York. His last year of training was a clinical internship in Depew, New York during which time he treated a variety of populations from students to older people.
Dr. Will Mitchell graduated from NYCC in December 2014 but was drawn to the beauty of British Columbia and has resided in B.C ever since .
