Advance Health and Wellness Centre has been working diligently to make our facility a safe environment for staff and patients alike. In order to maintain consistency, we ask that you please adhere to the new COVID-19 Clinic Protocols in accordance with recommendations and requirements imposed by our colleges and B.C Ministry of Health.

**Due note, in an attempt to stagger appointments and limit people within the facility, our hours of operation are subject to change.
Waiting area is limited to 1 patient at a time-so please come alone! Family, friends, and children are not allowed to wait nor accompany you inside except for parents/guardians of minors that are seeking treatment. Please call when you have arrived and wait in your car until reception calls you in.
In order to decrease exposure and reduce waste, we ask that you please bring your own clean face mask from home. Upon entering the treatment room and successfully completing the COVID-19 Health Questionnaire, your therapist will ask how you would like to proceed with the treatment-if you would like to continue with or without the mask and vice versa. Immediately after completing your treatment, and after proper hand hygiene, continue to wear your face mask to exit the facility. In the event you can not bring your own face mask, AHAW can provide you with a disposable mask. Effective immediately, 3-Ply Surgical Masks are required for Chiropractic treatments until further notice-they will be provided to you at the door.
Upon entering facility, we ask that you please wash your hands with soap and water then proceed to sanitize or wash hands immediately after your treatment.
To help minimize contact, we will no longer be accepting cash transactions nor printing reports or receipts this does not include debit or credit receipts from the payment terminal-all receipts and reports shall be emailed to you. Not to worry, we still gladly offer Direct Billing, ICBC Billing, Debit, Credit and Tap. We highly encourage Tap Payments! We apologize for the inconvenience.

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, even though they might seem mild please stay home and call to cancel your appointment; we completely understand and encourage you to do-you will not be charged a cancellation fee.

Patients will have to complete a COVID-19 Health Consent Survey prior to arriving to each appointment (24 hours before) and before starting each treatment. Unfortunately, we can refuse treatment if surveys are not completed successfully.
First Survey (24 hours before) – Emailed to you and to be completed before you arrive
Second Survey (before treatment can commence) – Administered by all therapists before beginning treatment
You can still connect with us virtually! Telehealth appointments are still available at our clinic and remain approved by ICBC and most insurers. Book an appointment online or give us a call!
We are taking the necessary precautions to ensure everyone’s safety that is why we have modified our cleaning protocols and clinic flow to minimize transmission. Rest assure we are complying with all required and recommended regulations imposed by B.C Ministry of Health and our colleges.
