Physiotherapist
Jason Chung
Jason grew up on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, participating in multiple sports at a young age. His love for sport and athletic development lead to a Bachelors of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. From 2015-2018, he provided various rehabilitation to clients through different settings, such as active and occupational rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, job-site visits, gradual return-to-work plans, and hydrotherapy. After finding his passion in the fields of rehabilitation, health optimization, and wellness and performance, Jason pursued and graduated with his Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Brighton.
During his stay in England (2018-2020), he gained experience through his active engagement with a Premier league soccer academy, university rugby teams, as well as in local Brighton hospitals.
Being an active competitive sports player, Jason has experienced his fair share of injuries. He believes by utilizing a patient-centred treatment approach, as well as providing individualized goal-setting, patients will become educated on their rehabilitation for better long-term results and can get back into what they love doing most in a safe manner. He hopes that his passion and knowledge on improving overall health will enable people to optimize their lifestyles and achieve what they want to do!
In Jason’s spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing sports, exercising, hiking, reading, blogging/podcasting, and travelling.
